TERMS & CONDITIONS
All payments must be made in full, 4 weeks prior to training dates.
Payment will secure your place. All courses have limited delegate spaces available.
The Curlita Academy reserves the right to change course dates. Fees will be refunded only if a course is cancelled by The Curlita Academy. You will be notified in advance of any planning changes and an alternative date will be offered. We will not offer a refund if we need to change a date.
The Curlita Academy reserves the right to decline admission to any of its training courses.
The Curlita Academy accepts no liability for any loss of earnings or expenses incurred by you or any models should a course need to be cancelled or rearranged.
You may pay for your training course in the following ways:
Payment in full – you are required to pay the full price of your course prior to attending your training course. An order confirmation confirming your place will be sent within 24 hours of payment being received in full.
Payment scheme - you are required to pay a deposit for your course in order to secure your place on a course date. An order confirmation confirming your place will be sent within 24 hours of us receiving your deposit payment. We will then contact you to arrange your future payment dates for when additional payments can be taken by card payment over the phone (note we will allow a maximum of 2 payments for the balance).
Finance - via Klarna or any other third party finance provider we use subject to their own credit checks.
Your course balance must be paid in full no later than 4 weeks prior to the course start date. It is the your responsibility to ensure that the balance is paid in full at least 4 weeks before the course date. Failure to do so may result in your course place being cancelled, re-listed for sale and any payment already made may be forfeited in line with our cancellation procedure.
The Curlita Academy does not offer refunds for training courses undertaken.
Course bookings & Cancellations
All courses once purchased are non-refundable, this includes booking fees. If you are unable to attend we will endeavour to re book the course at a £25 administration fee, 4 weeks maximum notice will apply. Failing to give us 4 weeks notice will result in you needing to book the course from scratch.
Courses can be cancelled four weeks in advance of a course. All cancellations must be made in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org and will incur a 50% admin charge of the full price of the course and a £25 administration fee. This is to cover the cost of finding models for the training day and staffing costs.
Courses booked within 6 weeks of the course date will not be refunded.
If you do not turn up to your arranged course date for any reason we will not be able to re arrange this. As a good will gesture we may offer you alternative course dates within a 3 month period if we already have them booked in and providing there is space on the course to fit you in. If this falls out of a 3 month period it will be your responsibility to rebook your course at an additional charge.
The Curlita Academy does not issue refunds for Acts of God.
If the Curlita academy chooses to cancel a course due to an Act of God then it is not liable for any loss resulting to the customer as a result of this cancelled course.
You are responsible for ensuring that you comply with statutory and legal obligations in the country that you practise in including but not limited to CQC, HIS, HIW.
If you arrive more that 15 minutes late for the start time of your course you may not be permitted into the course. No refund will be given and you will forfeit your place on the course.
Whilst learning on premises at The Curlita Academy you will be covered by our group insurance policy.
Delegates may choose to independently arrange insurance to provide indemnity against possible cancellation.
The Curlita Academy does not provide any cancellation insurance but recommends that you have your own insurance in place should a course be cancelled at last minute either by us or you.
You are responsible for ensuring you can gain appropriate insurance cover to work in your own country you wish to practise in. The Curlita Academy does not offer refunds if you find you are not able to gain appropriate insurance, or an insurer declines or terminates your insurance.
All training is confirmed via email. If you have not had your email confirmation please check your junk box or contact us on email@example.com
Course materials and certificates are supplied free of charge on the day. If you require new copies of your certificates sent out to you in the post, please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org
Complementary treatment is encouraged and may be offered on the training day, there is no reduction in price if this offer is not taken up.
Special offers will be released periodically and must be paid in full at time of booking.
The Curlita Academy does not take full responsibility to check all prerequisites prior to courses. We rely on students to be truthful and to provide copies of previous qualifications to us.
You must wear suitable clinic wear in the training academy at all times such as scrubs or a uniform and closed toe shoes. Denim and sportswear are not suitable to be worn. Long hair must be tied up, jewellery should be minimum and nails should be cut short.
You must bring ID with you such as a passport or driving licence to your training course. You will not be permitted to train on the premises without it.

The Curlita Academy operates an “Open Door” policy, where delegates can reach out for support, or if necessary re-attend a training session free of charge within 2 weeks of original attendance if there is adequate space, otherwise 50-70% of original fee will be applicable.

Data - GDPR
In booking a training course with The Curlita Academy, you agree to us using any data you submit in order to process your order and for future marketing purposes by The Curlita academy Ltd.
Your details will not be transferred to any other third party without your written consent.
The Curlita Academy takes pride in the quality of its service and as such will try to resolve any complaints as quickly as possible.
Complaints about any aspect of The Curlita Academy should be made in writing by emailing email@example.com
Complaints received in writing will be acknowledged by return email or letter within one week of receipt.
All bookings are dependent on availability. Please discuss this with us before making your booking.
Your booking confirmation will be sent within 24-48 hours of booking and payment clearing. If you do not receive this please contact us as your booking is not complete without this.

Payment is required within 14 days of an invoice being issued. Please note if this is close to the date no prior work will be done before the event.
Booking Fees & Deposits
A 50% booking fee is required to secure your booking. Alternatively you can make your payment in full.
In the unlikely event that we cancel your booking, a full refund will be issued.
Consultancy Cancellations and Rescheduling
To cancel a booking you must inform Curlita Academy Ltd in writing at least 22 days before the booking date.
If you cancel within 22 days of the booking date, you will lose your booking fee and will be required to pay the remainder of the balance
If you cancel your booking before 22 days of the booking you will lose your booking fee and the remainder of the balance will not need to be paid.
To cancel an overseas booking, you must inform Curlita academy Ltd 46 days before the booking date.
Once a booking has been cancelled, you will be required to repeat the booking process should you wish to re book with us.
The Curlita Academy does not issue refunds for Acts of God.

Social Media and Publications
After you receive your booking confirmation, you are required to connect with Hannah-Curlita Dennis on Linkedin and Curlita Beauty on Instagram.
Social Media and Promotional Assets
Social media and other promotional assets are to be created for each booking. Assets are to include Hannah-Curlita Dennis’s image and involvement in the booking/event.
PR images are to be sent to The Curlita Academy 2 week before the event/booking via email@example.com
Any media footage taken is to be shared with us within 1 week of the booking/event.
If you would like copies of media that we take please request this via firstname.lastname@example.org
The media we obtain from the event/booking can then be distributed through all of our public platforms.
No recording is to be taken without our permission.
Upon completion of the event/booking, any testimonials gathered from participants are to be shared with us within one week of the event/booking.
A video or written testional/linkedin/google recommendation from a senior employee/senior employee of choice is required within a week of the event/booking.
Any presentations, footage, recordings etc are prohibited from being shared without permission and a licence in place.
Ant information received from events/booking participants in accordance with this agreement which concerns the personal, financial or other affairs of the organisation will be treated in full confidence and will not be shared with or to any other persons or organisation.
